The Municipality of Peapack and Gladstone, in the State of New Jersey, held an official public recognition ceremony on 22 December 2025 in honour of César DePaço and the DePaço Foundation, following the municipal proclamation approved on the same date, in acknowledgement of the donation of a fully equipped police vehicle to the local Police Department.
The document, signed by the Mayor, highlights César DePaço’s long-standing commitment to philanthropic support for law enforcement agencies in the United States of America, with particular emphasis on the State of New Jersey. Although the DePaço Foundation was formally established only recently, the proclamation recognises that César DePaço’s personal dedication to strengthening law enforcement resources spans more than a decade. This commitment has largely been realised through his company, Summit Nutritionals International Inc., which has facilitated support for numerous police departments, sheriff’s offices and state law enforcement agencies across the United States.
The Municipal Council also notes that César DePaço is a local resident and that, over the years, he has consistently supported the Peapack and Gladstone Police Department through previous donations. The need to acquire a new police vehicle, with an estimated cost of close to one hundred thousand dollars, had been identified by the municipal authorities and was promptly met by César DePaço, who, through his foundation, fully funded the vehicle. This contribution is intended to strengthen the operational capacity of the police forces within the municipality and Somerset County.
At the formal ceremony held on 22 December 2025, the Municipality publicly expressed its appreciation and profound gratitude for the contribution, highlighting the positive impact of the donation on the public interest, community safety, and the strengthening of cooperation between civil society and law enforcement.
