On the morning of March 6th, a ceremony was held at Police Headquarters honoring Dr. César DePaço and his contributions to the Flemington Borough Police Department, specifically its K-9 Unit.

Recently Dr. DePaço donated money used to purchase the newest K9 Elza and also a 2024 Ford Explorer patrol vehicle. In recognition of his donation, Police Chief Jerry Rotella presented Dr. DePaço with an honorary Police Chief badge and ID.
