Businessman and philanthropist César do Paço donated €20,000 to the association “O Berço” in Viana do Castelo, an institution dedicated to protecting children at risk.

The information was released in a statement by Chega de Viana do Castelo, which explained that the donation was made during a visit by deputy and councilman Eduardo Teixeira to the institution, accompanied by the businessman.

According to the statement, the purpose of the visit was to learn more about the work carried out by the association and identify its main needs and challenges.

The amount donated “will strengthen the association's response capacity and support its most urgent expenses.”

Eduardo Teixeira emphasized in the statement that “solidarity is an ongoing commitment” and highlighted “the example of dedication and commitment to others” that characterizes the O Berço Association.

The deputy also referred to the importance of “building bridges between civil society, entrepreneurs, and social institutions,” arguing that “with simple gestures of solidarity, we can transform lives and give hope to those who need it most.”

César DePaço stated that “helping others is a moral and human duty,” adding that “happiness lies in giving and contributing so that others can have a better life.”

According to the party, this initiative reinforces the commitment of Eduardo Teixeira and César do Paço to social causes and to the institutions that make a difference every day in the municipality and in the country.
