Portuguese businessman César DePaço, based in the United States, was recently honored by the Somerset County Chiefs of Police Association at a ceremony held at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, which brought together the heads of the police departments of Somerset County and the head of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

The distinction recognizes DePaço’s support for law enforcement and his commitment to the areas of authority, public safety and community protection.

As a tribute, he was presented with a commemorative display bringing together the official badges of the police chiefs of the county’s various departments, including that of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

“I receive this distinction with deep gratitude, sincere humility and a heightened sense of responsibility,” said César DePaço. “Each of these badges represents the courage, the discipline, the sacrifice and the commitment of the men and women who devote their lives to upholding the law and protecting the community.”
